Product Description

An undercoat for air-drying protective and decorative paints. May be used on primed steel and timber, and on sealed cement, hardboard, composition boarding, and other materials used in the construction industry.

System information

Thinning not recommended. Ready for use after thorough stirring for brush or roller applications. Mineral Turpentine if required for spraying to maximum of 5 - 10% of product volume.Not suitable as a primer. Not suitable for direct application to powdery or friable surfaces whether previously painted or not.Not designed to withstand natural weathering. It should be recoated in 2 to 3 days. If left uncoated for extended periods, sanding will be required before application of the topcoat. Not to be used as part of paint systems for roofs.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Suitable for cement plaster, gypsum plaster, concrete, fibre cement, PVC, galvanised iron, ferrous and wooden surfaces provided that appropriate preparation and priming is carried out.
  • 2. Cleaning
    For clean up use DULUX PRE-PAINT BRUSH CLEANER/DEGREASER or Mineral Turpentine
