Spotlight On 90 Grayston

The ability to transcend simple functional needs with product solutions that address a growing list of sustainability, efficiency and even human resource considerations is what propelled Dulux to the preferred paint partner status on 90 Grayston.

As one of the most ecologically innovative developments in recent years, 90 Grayston demanded a paint solution that would not only meet the Green Star SA VOC limits, but that would prove to match up to the high aesthetic value of the buildings.

The Dulux Ecosure range provided a dynamic solution that not only addressed the Green Star requirements but that also proved to offer the extensive choice in finishes and colour that a project of this architectural significance required.

Come Rain Or Shine At Cradlestone Mall

The Cradle of Humankind boasts an eye-catching new shopping centre, aptly named Cradlestone Mall. Considered one of the largest private commercial construction projects in SA at the time, this 70 000m2 retail development stands solid in Maropeng – the birthplace of humanity.

That is why Dulux was honoured to be selected as the primary paint company for the job. To ensure the Cradlestone Mall stands up to harsh weather patterns, Dulux’s waterproofing, Rainshield was chosen for its ability to bridge cracks of up to 2mm. A membrane-free, flexible fibre-reinforced waterproofing paint, Dulux Rainshield offers long-lasting acrylic formulation and can be top-coated with most waterbased paints.

Cell C Makes The Call

With colour in our hands and power in theirs, Dulux was extremely privileged to be specified by Cell C’s architects as the paint company of choice for their new head office in Midrand.

With a total paint value of R1.5 million, the Building occupies 46000m² and includes offices network operations centre (NOC), data centre, customer walk in centres, call centre, Cell C shops, and a distribution warehouse.

The Grass Is Greener At Ernst & Young

An iconic design that stands proud in the Sandton CBD - Ernst & Young’s new head office embodies the firm’s commitment to building a better working world for all. It’s a new address that represents building a stronger connection to Africa, clients, and communities.

Registered with the Green Building Council of South Africa for a four Green Star rating, the design of the building focuses on preserving energy, water and waste. To pursue a green star rating, Dulux Eco Sure was selected as the paint range of choice for the 38,000²m development. A quality, water-based paint that’s trusted around the world to meet sustainability targets and maintain a professional finish.
